Mark Stevens has no problem finding a friend, a beer and a bathroom in any language (but not always in that order).
Qualified as a Directors Guild of America 2nd Assistant Director (DGA), included among his titles are Cogan’s Trade, Colombiana, The Baytown Disco, On the Road, Red and X-Men Origins: Wolverine. He has organized stunt sequences, special effects shots, and multiple filming units for films with budgets ranging from tiny to colossal.
While much of Mark’s experience may be behind the lens, he is equally as comfortable in front of it. Eligible as a member of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA), Mark has experience as a host, stunt performer, dancer and precision driver.
In 2009 he started thetruefootball.com, a website providing American fans a unique perspective of the sport. On the field, he is a winger for Finn McCool’s FC; dubbed ‘the most famous pub-team in the world’ for inspiring the popular book Finn McCool’s Football Club: The Birth, Death and Resurrection of a Pub Soccer Team in the City of the Dead by teammate Stephen Rea.
When he is not gasping for air on some beleaguered, possibly offended footy pitch, you can find Mark traveling, eating something foreign (perhaps food) or engaging in philanthropy by growing a moustache for men’s health awareness.
